Rihanna Says Being Single is a 'Pain in the Ass'

Love her or hate her, nothing's going to stop Rihanna from dancing drunk in her underwear as she grinds on random dudes in Barbados. She also enjoys grabbing her own butt.

But despite how much fun the singer looks like she's having, she recently revealed that she thinks being single is "a pain in the ass." In an interview with the UK version of Vogue magazine, Rihanna said:

"I need an escape because this job is way too much anyway. It's a pain in the ass coming home alone and after work to lie in a hotel bed with nobody to get you up unless its work related."

I think it's safe to say that after that whole Chris Brown thing, Rihanna might have wanted to take a break from dating. The most recent person she's been linked to was actor Colin Farrell. The two were allegedly sending each other dirty text messages, but Rihanna insists that she still unattached. She also briefly dated baseball player Matt Kemp last year. Right now, though, Riri is solo.

"It makes no sense starting something you are going to stop, so I don't want to rush into anything."

Not rushing is smart. The only problem is, she's seriously been in heat this year. From talking about spanking Britney Spears to Tweeting sh-t like, "Topless Dancers...YUMM!!! I love my job," I wouldn’t be surprised if Rihanna is spraying on furniture at this point.

"I mean it is nice being single in one way, because a relationship can feel like a chore, and that’s not good. That's not what I need."

So what does she need? Well, in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, Rihanna told the mag:

"I think I'm a bit masochistic. I love feeling like I'm somebody's girl. I love to be tied up and spanked. I like to be whipped."

Someone get this woman a vibrator before she keeps going.

Despite the fact that she's single, Rihanna's career has been going awesomely. The singer recently beat out Madonna's Top 10 record. Previously, Madonna held the record for solo artist with 20 top 10 singles garnered in the shortest time. That title now goes to Rihanna. Her current single, We Found Love debuted at number 16 but has now risen to number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Being single might be a pain in the ass, but it sure hasn't hurt her career.
