Victoria Beckham struggled to feed her new baby daughter Harper because of ongoing back pain following the tot’s birth, but is now feeling “great”, according to her husband David.
Reports emerged after the baby’s arrival in July suggesting the former Spice Girls star suffered a slipped disc while pregnant, but her representative played down the gossip, simply stating, “Victoria has a back condition. She is resting and receiving treatment.”
The singer-turned-fashion designer’s husband David has now addressed his wife’s health issues, revealing his partner struggled to nurse their new daughter.
He says, “It was obviously very uncomfortable for her because feeding Harper was very difficult and so was picking Harper up. But she’s great now.”
Harper is the first little girl for the Beckhams, joining their sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – and David admits it is a completely different experience bringing up a daughter.
The soccer ace adds, “We’ve got three amazing boys, but there’s a lot of energy with them. With Harper, she’s so calm, she’s so ladylike.
“She is three months old. Everything she does is a milestone – the way she holds herself, the way she breathes, the way she smiles. It’s amazing.
