Selena Gomez Blames Poor Eating Habits For Illness

Selena Gomez is doing much better after her health scare last week. She appeared on the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning radio show on Thursday (June 16), days after performing in Santa Monica, appearing healthy and in good spirits and updating fans on how she's feeling.

"I'm good now, thank you. I'm so much better," she told Kraddick in her home state of Texas. "I do eat. The problem is I don't eat right. I love everything that's possibly not good for me."

The singer was treated at the hospital on June 9 for food poisoning and exhaustion after becoming ill following her appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

Gomez said she's trying to get her diet back on track and has a special someone — her mother — helping her out. "She's definitely shoving vitamins down my throat and following me around," she explained about the steps her "supermom" is taking to get her healthy again. "But at the same time, I was a stubborn kid, so I got to eat whatever I wanted. I have to have creamed spinach or cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy."

So, what else does she love to eat? "I love M&M's, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies," she admitted.

Although fans showed support for Gomez when they found out she was ill, she confessed that sometimes it's hard to be famous. But she's not letting it stop her from living her life. "It's a very hard thing because for me, it's not about being public about anything, but I don't want to live my life being afraid of what people are going to say about me," she said of dating and living life in the public eye. "I lived that way for the first four years I was in the business and I was very unhappy."

Selena Gomez, the 18-year-old singer and actress, has spoken for the first time since her stay in hospital last week. Selena Gomez was reportedly hospitalized for nausea and severe headache on Thursday (9th June 2011) following her appearance on the 'Late Show with Jay Leno', reports Mtv News.

As news of the singer's hospitalization began to circulate, fans began to flood her Twitter page with messages of concern. The singer's boyfriend Justin Bieber had led the support, tweeting, "getwellselena", on Friday. Gomez responded to the messages today (13th June 2011), telling fans, "Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding. Can't wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off".

Gomez also took to her Facebook account to thank fans for their support, saying, "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much". Selena didn't appear in any discomfort during her appearance on Jay Leno and an insider on the show noted, "Selena was nothing but professional. She did a backstage interview and hung out with Jim Carrey after the show. The 'Tonight Show' people didn't even know she wasn't feeling well".

Selena Gomez was taken to an L.A.-area hospital Thursday(09Jun11) after taping an appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and remained there Friday undergoing what her rep called "routine tests."

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress, a.k.a. Justin Bieber's girlfriend, was promoting her romantic comedy "Monte Carlo," which opens July 1.

"She is currently undergoing routine tests," her rep told People on Friday. Sources told TMZ that Gomez, who turns 19 next month, had been suffering from a severe headache and nausea.

Gomez was to have played an outdoor concert Friday afternoon at Santa Monica Place, kicking off a 10-stop mall tour, but that show was canceled.

Disney star Selena Gomez has cut images of painted horses from her new video for Love You Like A Love Song after been criticised by animal right activists, including singer Pink.

The Raise Your Glass hitmaker blasted 18-year-old Selena after images of her posing with a horse painted pink on the beach in Malibu, California, were released.

Pink, 31, tweeted: 'If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.'

Representatives for Gomez responded to the outrage, insisting no horses were harmed during the filming.

But it looks like the Wizards of Waverly Place star took Pink's comments to heart as according to E! Online, the colour-enhanced horses will no longer be featured in the clip's final cut.

Selena Gomez Gets Death Threats Over Bieber Relationship

Selena Gomez has become the target of death threats after she was pictured frolicking with boyfriend Justin Bieber in Hawaii. The 18-year-old Disney actress has been singled out online by jealous fans of the teen pop idol – with some vowing to kill her.

One Bieber fan wrote on Twitter: “I'll kill you I swear on GOD!!!!'

Another promised: 'If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will Kill you I HATE YOU :@ !!!'

Yet another fan of Bieber, 17, wrote on the site: “Stay away from Justin paedophile.”

Other comments included: “Selena Gomez is dangerously close to a long, slow painful death” and 'I'm gonna kill ya in the night underneath your smell bed.' The so-called Beliebers – hardcore fans of the Baby singer – became enraged after the couple made their relationship public.

Photos showed the pair kissing, cuddling and in an embrace with the singer in the surf in Maui, Hawaii last week. In one image she had her legs wrapped around his waist.

Fans even took to Facebook to set up groups such as 'I hate Selena Gomez cuz she is dating my man.'

A spokesperson for Bieber had no comment

Alright, I know I’m getting old, but these kids are really starting to creep me out. I couldn’t even get on the Internet today without looking at borderline porn pictures of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

I don’t want to get on a rant about how these kids are too young to be sexually active, but I don’t want to look at that sh-t, either. Maybe if he didn’t look like he was pre-pubescent it would help, I don’t know.

Jenner is a teen model who started her career with Forever 21. Bruce and Kris Jenner were recently under fire after Kendall took a set of racy bikini photos.

The loved-up teenagers were seen splashing around on the shore before Selena jumped into Justin's arms for a passionate embrace.

Justin Bieber Unveils a New Tattoo

Watch out, Kat Von D, Justin Bieber may be giving you a run for your money. While on vacation in Hawaii over the weekend, Justin showed off a new tattoo. Placed on the side of his abdomen, the tattoo reads, “Yeshua”, which is Hebrew for Jesus.

No one is sure when Bieber got the tattoo, but last year, he got one of a seagull on his hip to match his father’s. Because nothing screams “badass” more than a tattoo of Jesus and a seagull.

Bieber got the bird tattoo in Toronto at Son of a Gun Tattoo, where his father got inked. Co-owner Brian Byrne said, “He laid there and sucked it up, his dad took a bunch of pictures and video and everybody talked to him. He's a very nice kid."

Justin was 16 at the time of the tattoo, but apparently got parental consent.

Bieber was in Hawaii with Selena Gomez, who he is kind of officially, sort of totally dating. I’m guessing they need to keep the relationship unofficial because one of the symptoms of Bieber fever is a strong inclination to attack Selena Gomez.

I’m pretty sure when he kissed her at the Billboard awards, about a million twelve year old girls stabbed their Selena Gomez voodoo dolls before going into a deep depression. Not in Naija i Guess!
