Cindy Crawford's Daughter Enters Modeling World With Versace Campaign

Cindy Crawford’s daughter is following in her mother’s footsteps as the new face of the first ever Young Versace Campaign.

"Families who model together, stay together," I’m pretty sure Tyra Banks said that once.

Cindy Crawford was Gianni Versace’s muse for many years, appearing in their ads for most of Crawford’s career. Now, her 10-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber, who looks like a mini version of Crawford, is the first ever model for Versace’s new kid’s clothing line.

“Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift,” explained Donatella Versace, “The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!”

Also, a 10-year-old nabbing a Versace campaign?! Girl, “you better work!” Okay, I know RuPaul said that one.

Shot by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Gerber will make her Versace debut for the brand’s spring/summer 2012 campaign.

Mommy Crawford was on set for her daughters shoot and said being there was very nostalgic.

“I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on set with my daughter and watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.”

  3. I really like what you have got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of material so individuals could link with it better. You have an terrible lot of written text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could area it out better.
