Nicki Minaj Surprises YouTube Singers

Remember last week when a YouTube video of two little kids singing Nicki Minaj's Super Bass went viral? At first, I just saw girls dressed as princesses and blew it off as a "Toddlers in Tiaras" episode, but it turns out, they're adorable and they're actually pretty talented.

So of course the awesome Ellen DeGeneres invited them to appear on her show, as she's been promising us for weeks now that she's going to be scouring YouTube for the best pint-sized talent.

If that wasn't cool enough for 8 year-old Sophia and her 5 year-old cousin, Rosie, Ellen also surprised them with Nicki Minaj.

With her long, blue mermaid hair and typical wacky style, Minaj appeared on the show to meet the two girls. Little Sophia immediately jumped onto the singer and squealed, "You're real! You're real!" Which is exactly how I plan to react when I meet Lady Gaga.

Nicki then gave Rosie a hug and told Ellen:

"Within five seconds of seeing this video, I was calling everyone I knew and I was also receiving a billion emails. Everyone is like, 'You have to see this little girl.' She blew me away!"

The 8 year-old has some serious lungs on her. She belted out the bridge to Nicki's song on the air as the audience cheered her on. Some people even cried. The video has been viewed by over six million people.

"Superstar," Nicki said after Sophia's performance. "Seriously we are watching a journey that’s about to be amazing. You are incredible. I just want you to stay in school. Music is beautiful but stay in school ok. Put your books first and singing second."

And don't sing F-ck U Silly until you're at least eighteen.

Ellen gave the girls Nicki inspired wings, microphones and necklaces to perform the song with their idol. Nicki then surprised the girls with a shopping spree.

That's it. I'm getting a tiara, setting up my camera and learning how to upload videos to YouTube.

Nicki certainly has come a long way, and while she had difficult times, she's on top of the world right now. Minaj said:

"My journey has been up and down. Lots of bumps on the road, but it's been exciting. I really wouldn’t change a thing to be completely honest."
