It's Official: Beyonce is Pregnant!

The singer showed up to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a gorgeous red gown. MTV Tweeted: "OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!"

Along with the announcement, MTV tweeted a red carpet photo of Beyonce holding her pregnant belly.

Congrats to Jay-Z and Beyonce, I'm sure there will be plenty more to celebrate! We definitely got this show started on a high note.

Last year, reports surfaced that Beyonce was pregnant with her first child. Beyonce and her mom both came forward saying the rumors were crazy right now.

"I want a whole bunch of kids — but after I’ve got certain things out of my system first," Beyonce said.

Let's just hope those certain things aren't totally out of her system, we want to see Beyonce at many, many more VMAs.

Back In June, Beyonce appeared on Piers Morgan tonight, when Piers asked her about turning 30.

"I feel like a woman. I feel like I'm very aware of who I am. I feel great and I feel like 30 is the ideal age [to start a family]," Beyonce said.

Considering the fact that Beyonce looks like she's about 4-5 months along, she had to have known she was pregnant during this interview. I wouldn't be surprised if craft services consisted of ice cream, pickles, and sardines.

"You're mature enough to know who you are and to have your boundaries and your standards, and not be afraid, too polite — but you're young enough to be a young woman," she told Morgan. "I'm so looking forward to it."

She then admitted: "I always said I'd have a baby at 30. But I also said I'm going to retire at 30 ... Only God knows."

Now God and the rest of the world know. So now that she's crossed off one item on her turning-thirty bucket list, does that mean she's going to retire, too? Say it ain't so, Beyonce!

“When you’re young – 18 or 19 – you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can," Beyonce told Style magazine earlier this month.

"Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children,” she adds.

Congrats to Beyonce and Jay-Z. He's got 99 problems, and changing a diaper is definitely going to be one.

Beyonce was a winner before the show even started. Beyoncé nabbed Choreography for "Run the World (Girls)," beating out Gaga's "Judas," Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" and Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song." Perry, meanwhile, who entered the night as the most-nominated artist, secured Special Effects for "E.T."
