Britney Spears' Rep Denies Engagement Rumours

A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied reports the singer is to marry her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick.

British tabloid The Sun reported earlier this week (Jun11) that the pop superstar was secretly engaged to Trawick, who she has been dating for two years.

Trawick was said to have proposed to the Toxic hitmaker by writing a romantic poem and filling their Los Angeles home with candles and roses.

But Spears' representative has moved swiftly to dismiss the report, stating: "She is not engaged."

The mum-of-two, who has been married twice before, has previously refused to rule out tying the knot with Trawick, insisting, "I'd do it if the timing was right."
