Britney Spears' Rep Denies Engagement Rumours

A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied reports the singer is to marry her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick.

British tabloid The Sun reported earlier this week (Jun11) that the pop superstar was secretly engaged to Trawick, who she has been dating for two years.

Trawick was said to have proposed to the Toxic hitmaker by writing a romantic poem and filling their Los Angeles home with candles and roses.

But Spears' representative has moved swiftly to dismiss the report, stating: "She is not engaged."

The mum-of-two, who has been married twice before, has previously refused to rule out tying the knot with Trawick, insisting, "I'd do it if the timing was right."

Britney Spears `secretly engaged to Jason Trawick`

Britney Spears has reportedly gotten engaged to her long-term boyfriend and former manager Jason Trawick.

The 29-year-old has already been married twice. She has recently been seen wearing a flower-shaped diamond ring on her wedding finger, according to The Sun.

A source told the newspaper that Jason, who is ten years older than Britney, filled the downstairs of their Los Angeles mansion with candles and roses before presenting her with a poem asking her to be his wife.

'Britney's desperate to settle down again and have more children. But she is very traditional and didn't want to start a family with Jason until they'd tied the knot,' said the insider.

'She's on cloud nine.'

Britney was married to the father of her two sons, Kevin Federline, from 2004 to 2006 and also married childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas, but it was annulled after just 55 hours.

This time around, she is said to be planning a low-key wedding in Hawaii as soon as she finishes her world tour.

Britney Spears - Spears & Rihanna Stun Vegas Crowd At The Billboard Music Awards

Britney Spears and Rihanna got the Billboard Music Awards off to a steamy start in Las Vegas on Sunday night (22May11) by performing the R&B star's S&M together as pseudo-strippers.

Both pin-ups wore matching leather bodices - Britney's was black and Rihanna's white - and the girls writhed around the stage and pole danced as they performed the sexy hit, with their hands clamped with handcuffs, attached by chains.

Spears made a grand entrance in the middle of the song - seated on a chair which rose up from beneath the stage with a sado-masochistic bunny mask on her face.

The crowd went wild at the Mgm Grand arena as they realised who Rihanna's special guest was.

Maybe next year Billboard will change the name of the show to THE GODNEY BILLBOARDNEY SHOW.
