Ryan Reynolds - Ryan Reynolds 'A Different Person' After Divorce

Ryan Reynolds, the American actor and star of the forthcoming 'Green Lantern' movie, says he has become a different person since his divorce from Scarlett Johansson, reports Details Magazine. Ryan Reynolds, who split from the actress back in December 2010 after two years of marriage, says he has gone through "a lot of pain".

The usually private Hollywood actor opened up about the healing process that he's experienced in recent months, saying he doesn't plan to marry again. Reynolds said, "I have no interest in dating right now. It just seems so kind of alien to me at this point".

His former wife Johansson has been linked with the Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn in recent months, having been photographed with him on numerous occasions. In contrast, Reynolds says he is yet to recover from the emotional pains of divorce, saying, "Anyone who gets divorced goes through a lot of pain, but you come out of it.
I'm not out of it yet. At all. But I sense that as I do come through it, there's optimism. How can there not be?" The actor admits the split has enabled him to become 'who he is', adding, "Any kind of crisis can be good. It wakes you up. I gotta say, I'm a different person that I was six months ago".

Ryan Reynolds was previously engaged to the Canadian singer Alanis Morissette. The pair announced their engagement back in June 2004 before mutually agreeing to end their relationship in 2007.
