Hines Ward Handcuffed at Gunpoint

This goes to show you laziness can lead to arrests. Dancing With the Stars and NFL superstar Hines Ward got pulled over early this morning, handcuffed at gunpoint and arrested for driving a stolen car. But it was a big old misunderstanding.

The female Hines was with had reported her car stolen after an incident with valet. Long story short, she got her car back but forgot to call the police and cancel the whole stolen car report thing. Lazy, lazy.

So what happened? Police thought Hines had stolen the car so they pulled him over and arrested him and the woman.

After the woman explained the situation and police verified the information, they were both let go without incident.

The incident in the news that involved me getting pulled over. I want everyone to know that this was a complete misunderstanding. The police were just doing their job. Apologies were made and it's now in the past. Moving forward...Hines.

How do you just forget that you reported your car stolen? Sometimes valet takes a while, it doesn't mean they drove off with your Honda Civic. #justsayin.
