Fashion: Gwyneth Paltrow Wants You to Dress Like Her, For Just $18,000

This is why Gwyneth Paltrow gets such a bad rep.

Gwyneth Paltrow probably thought she was doing good when she put together six outfits for retailer Net-a-Porter for wardrobe “basics” but the only problem being is that the total cost of the outfits adds up to $18,000.

Umm, not really basic huh?

She included a $90 Kain T-shirt, $1840 Chloe silk jacket, $785 Stella McCartney jersey tank dress and how a normal person could actually afford those “basics” is beyond me.

That’s like rent, car payment and credit card payment for two months for an average Americano.

Gwyneth says that her picks are "great pieces which are versatile enough to wear to the office and during your summer leisure time."

If you’re not familiar with Gwyneth’s GOOP website, it’s a lifestyle website that offers all things including travel tips and food recipes.

When she launched the website she said, “My life is good because I am not passive about it. I want to nourish what is real, and I want to do it without wasting time. I love to travel, to cook, to eat, to take care of my body and mind, to work hard. I love being a mother who has to overcome my bad qualities to be a good mother. I love being in spaces that are clean and feel nice.”

So that’s why she decided to share her fabulous world with the rest of the world.
