She discovered through a genealogical society that she’s a distant cousin of Kate’s and is keeping her fingers crossed that she’ll get a last minute invite to the wedding. Don’t hold your breath sweetheart.
In an interview with ‘Extra’, she said: “We're 15th cousins, yeah, it's not like we're 20th or something … we're 15th.
"It's not too late, Terri. I'm not counting anything out. That's not how I got to where I am, by being a glass-half-empty kind of person. I mean, there could be a phone call. I have a beautiful outfit picked out, and a hat."
Based on the 96 page official packet Clarence House sent to the media, which includes the guest list and seating chart, it’s safe to say the guest list is set in stone and no one is getting a last minute invite.
But if she can’t score a wedding invite, she’s hoping her new found information can at least get her an interview with Kate.
She said: "There will be a time when Oprah's not gonna be around next year. Who will be around to help her when she needs something? Me."
Ellen’s not the only A-lister bummed out about not getting an invite to the wedding. Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Madonna were all left off the list. Mr. Bean gets an invite and RPatz doesn’t? The horror!
