Judge Yourself Rightly Part 1

But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31 NASB

Judgment has always been deemed negative. Whenever it's mentioned, believers equate it to punishment. This mentality has been passed on through centuries and has always been taught in the church. But today, judgment will be viewed in a different light. We've been admonished to judge ourselves rightly, so that we would not be judged. What does this mean?

We might read this passage and think that it means to examine, i.e; we are to watch out for our wrong deeds and stop them, to prevent judgment. But, this scripture means something different. First of all, if we were to judge ourselves based on the Lord's standard, we'll be found wanting; " there is none that is good". Instead we are to judge our self differently, not based on what we've done, but based on what Jesus has done for us; this is good judgement.

Beloved, people might have written you off as good for nothing, that you would not amount to anything. The painful fact sometimes might be that your experience might concur to what has been said. But, if you can just look away from yourself and unto Jesus: see all that He has done on your behalf. Focus on how beautiful His ways are and on Him as your substitute. Hold on to this picture in your heart in belief and see your life transformed from one level of glory to another.

DON'T WASTE GRACE

But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. And I'm not about to let his grace go to waste. Haven't I worked hard trying to do more than any of the others? Even then, my work didn't amount to all that much. It was God giving me the work to do, God giving me the energy to do it. 1 Cor 15:10 MSG

Beloved, you have been called into a higher life in Christ. You are to live while on earth like you are in heaven— the truth is; you are in Heaven. You have arrived in Heavenly Jerusalem(Heb 12:22). You arrived the moment you became born again, so you ought to live life from that realm.

You might ask; why is my present situation like this, if I've really arrived in Heaven? Thank God you asked. Your present situation does not deter the fact that what God said about you is true. Let God be true and every other person or situation a lair(Romans 3:4). God that spared not His son, but delivered Him up for you, why won't he FREELY give you all things? Romans 8:32.

The interesting thing is; God has already given you all things FREELY for your enjoyment.(1 Cor 2: 12). Beloved, God's intent and purpose for your life is for you to enjoy not suffer pain. Hold on to God's word, and in no time you will see the manifestation of His word in your life.

The Grace of God on your life, is for you to be able to utilize all the gifts and promises that God has given to you. Don't allow the Grace of God to Waste through UNBELIEF.

Prayer: My heavenly father, I thank you for your Grace working in my life. I pray that your Grace in my life will accomplish everything that concerns me in Jesus Name.
