Kathy Griffin Gets Naked on David Letterman

No, this is not one of those misleading tabloid headlines, or even a wardrobe malfunction, Kathy Griffin actually took off her dress during appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The undressing mayhem all began when Griffin talked about New Years Eve. During Griffin’s co-hosting duties on CNN’s New Year’s Eve countdown with Anderson Cooper this year, she thought it would be a good idea to get naked at the stroke of midnight, during the live telecast. What is this, Jackass?

Talking about her New Years Eve hosting gig, Griffin says, “Every year I try to up the ante a little bit. I’ve done it for five years now and I’ve been fired four years in a row…One year I said the f-word so I had to give the money back,” she says.

So what did she think was more shocking than the f-bomb? “I thought it would be appropriate in Times Square to create a moment, so I took my clothes off. I didn’t tell anyone, I didn’t tell Anderson” reveals Griffin.

On this, Letterman clapped his hands, his eyes got wide and he suggested, why don’t you take your clothes off here, on this show, right now. Ugggh. Letterman, so gross man, so gross.

So Griffin literally just stood up and started undressing while David letterman creepily helped her undress and yelled “ohh yeah, ohh buddy”

She pulled her dress down to below her hips and yelled “I’m not wearing underwear, because I didn’t want a panty line.” TMI! TMI!

The whole thing was very unsettling, mostly because Letterman kept repeating the phrase “oh yeah.” C’mon man, we know you were involved in a sexual harassment suit, tone it down!

So anyways, that’s what happened on American TV last night.
