Gasp! Katy Perry Unfollowed Russell Brand On Twitter

I knew this day would come, I just thought I would be better prepared for it, emotionally speaking.

Despite initial reports that the two were remaining friends,

it looks like Katy Perry is eliminating Russell Brand from her life. Well, at least from her virtual life. The singer just unfollowed her estranged husband on Twitter.

I’m not sure who is patrolling Katy Perry’s followers to break this story, but whoever it is, look out Woodward and Bernstein, you’ve got competition.

In case you’re wondering, and I know you are, Russell is still following Katy.

Friends say that Katy is only communicating with Brand via phone or email. “She’s limiting those interactions,” a source tells Us Weekly.

"He's being so atrocious that she feel like she never really knew him."

To summarize, Russell’s ‘atrociousness’ is defined as: reportedly forcing her to have kinky sex, threatening to write a tell-all book, Tweeting a picture of her without makeup, etc.

So I’m not entirely sure how this is coming as a surprise. Meanwhile, Russell says he’s been doing “quite well” in the wake of the divorce.

"I'm quite well, thank you,” Russell said when a reporter asked how he was during a Q&A session for his new TV show. “Are you asking because of recent events? Well, I suppose what you're doing is you're making the mistake as seeing time as linear."
