Jay-Z made his first appearance has a new dad last night, during the re-opening of his club, 40/40. And somehow, he didn’t fall down and collapse under the giant-ass ring that his wife, Beyonce, got him.
Jay was sporting a brand new sapphire pinky ring. According to Media Takeout, a source overhead Jay saying that he got the ring as a gift from Beyonce, for being so supportive throughout her pregnancy. It reportedly cost Bey $500,000. For that price, that “support” should’ve included carrying the baby himself.
The couple is used to shelling out that kind of cash, though. It was previously reported that Beyonce spent $22,000 on Blue Ivy Carter’s crib. A source told Britain’s Star Magazine:
“Jay-Z bought Beyonce a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse for $600,000. They’ve even splashed out on a $30,000 magical windmill playhouse for the garden and a mini Bugatti car, too.”
A mini Bugatti? Right, because the kid just came out of the womb knowing what Bugatti is. You could easily get her a mini Corolla and she wouldn’t know the difference.
Blue Ivy also reportedly got a $15,000 high chair.
"They've got baby charm bracelets and gold and platinum diamond rattles from Tiffany & Co, too,' the insider said.
