Ashton Kutcher on Demi Moore Divorce: 'Don't Believe the Hype'

He's either talking about his marriage or his role on Two And a Half Men.

With all the divorce rumors swirling around this week, Ashton Kutcher decided to deal with them the best way possible: Tweeting.

Ashton is usually pretty active on Twitter. But the past couple of weeks, he's been keeping quiet. Not many hashtags, inspirational quotes, pictures of himself…not much at all. But finally, Kutcher reemerged, posting only a link to his Spotify account, where he was playing Public Enemy's hit, Don't Believe the Hype.

Clever. Days before this, Demi Moore quoted the Greek philosopher, Epictetus, writing: "When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."

I can only imagine how ol' Epictetus would feel knowing his words would be used on a social networking site to address rumors about a celeb divorce. Hell, I wonder how Terminator X feels about it. Flava Flav probably doesn’t mind.

Ashton and Demi recently celebrated their anniversary, and by "celebrated", I mean, had sex partied with other people. Ashton was in San Diego partying at Fluxx Nightclub, where he may or may not or probably did hook up with a twenty-three year old.

The chick who claims she had sex with Ashton just recently hired a lawyer, too, according to RadarOnline.com.

Meanwhile, Demi has been in New York promoting her short film, Five. The series is part of a Lifetime TV anthology which chronicles five women dealing with breast cancer.

Jennifer Aniston is also linked to the project. But as of Wednesday, Moore was back in Los Angeles, as she was seen at SoHo House, sans Kutcher. More like SoLo House, amirightpeople?

Both Kutcher and Moore's reps have failed to respond for comment about where the two stand in their relationship. I think that kind of says it all, but I guess this is still a rumor.

Perhaps they are indeed getting a divorce, but the "hype" Kutcher is referring to is his reputation for being a serial cheater. There could be plenty of reasons for a split that don't involve cheating. Namely, though, I'm guessing Demi caught an episode of the new Two And A Half Men.

And this isn't the only heat Ashton is getting. CBS is apparently on his ass for inappropriately promoting companies on the show. Kutcher's character has stickers on his laptop that promote Foursquare, Flipboard, Hipmunk, GroupMe and Chegg, all companies that Ashton has investment stakes in.

"This was not part of any advertising transaction with CBS," a network rep tells E! News. "Our policy is to disclose such financial interests in a credit at the end of the broadcast."
