Kate Middleton has another title under her belt - a place on Vanity Fair's 2011 International Best Dressed list.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who married Prince William in April, was included on Vanity Fair magazine's annual International Best Dressed List and joined the likes of Tilda Swinton and Carey Mulligan.

Middleton, 29, was praised for her 'whirlwind of fashion successes' in the 72nd annual list.

Kate was appearing on the list for the second time, with her first mention back in 2008.

French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy topped the list with Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser of Qatar in second place and Catherine in third.

Michelle and Barack Obama also made their first appearance together on the Best Dressed Couples list.

Justin Timberlake and Colin Firth were among those included in the Best Dressed Men category.
