Mariah Carey Steps Out For The First Time Since Giving Birth

Since the birth of her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, Mariah Carey has been hiding out from the public eye. Mimi made her first paparazzi appearance yesterday in Manhattan since April.

The new mom got out of a car and headed towards her apartment surrounded by her entourage and wearing t-shirt, hoodie, and oversized glasses and looking way slimmer in her post baby body.

No photos of the babies have surfaced yet, except for a silly photo of Monroe holding her hand out to camera, concealing her face with a caption that Mariah tweeted, “This is baby Monroe saying ‘no pictures dahhhhling’ at 7+1/2 weeks…oh dear.”

Monroe is named after the famous Marilyn Monroe and Moroccan is named after Nick and Mariah’s favorite room in their home.

Now that Mariah’s out and about, she’s been rumored to be joining the cast of X-Factor according to Simon Cowell, “I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was on great form.
