J.Lo Prepares for Ukrainian Wedding Performance

She might be going through a high-profile split, but you didn’t actually think that was going to keep Jennifer Lopez down, did you?

A Ukrainian couple has hired Jennifer Lopez to perform at their wedding reception on Tuesday night. It definitely beats having some half-asleep DJ play Faith Hill and Tim McGraw songs while he checks his Facebook. While the newlyweds will be celebrating the exchange of their vows, Lopez will be celebrating her independence—by raking in a million bucks for the performance. Yep, she’s already back to work.

I find J.Lo’s resilience amazing. She announces her third divorce on Friday, and she’s already back to work, not even skipping a beat. Then again, I get too depressed to function when my cable goes out.

Later this summer, Lopez is booked for a Vegas music festival that includes Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. The tickets sold out within ten minutes of becoming available.

The two day event, iHeartMusic, is hosted by Ryan Seacrest and also features Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, Steven Tyler, Jane's Addiction, Alicia Keys, Sting, Usher and Carrie Underwood.

And here I thought the Black Eyed Peas were on a break. I guess there’s no summer vacation for music this year. Not that I'm complaining.
