Uche Jombo survives ghastly accident on Lekki Road

Nollywood actress/producer, Uche Jumbo, on Friday night, June 24, survived a late night automobile accident.  The actress was heading to her Lekki home after attending an LG event to launch their new 3D television set.

A man driving a brand new Ranger Rover Sport ran into Jombo's FJ Cruiser around the Lekki/Chevron toll gate which is currently under construction.  According to our sources, the high impact caused Jombo's car to spin around.

No lives were lost but Uche had to go to St Nicholas Hospital for an MRI scan to ensure that she was medically fine.  The range Rover is a total write off while Uche's car sustained considerable damage.

Some hours after the accident, Uche tweeted “Thank U lord 4 d gift of life! Only U lord did this! Thank U my rock!"

There are no working street lights in this busy area even though the roads are under heavy construction.

Uche Jombo was born in Enugu, Nigeria and grew up in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. A graduate of Mathematics and statistics from the University of Calabar, she also holds a PGD in Computer Studies from the University of Minna, Niger State. She has received awards in recognition of her contribution to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry and is also an ambassador for telecommunication giants, Globacom.  Jombo is the producer of films like "Nollywood Hustler", "Holding Hope" and the new "Damages".
