Reese Witherspoon appeared to forget about her own raunchy film scenes when she took a swipe at female reality stars, who make sex tapes to advance their careers, during her acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards.
The 35-year-old Water For Elephants star made her comments during her acceptance speech as she picked up the high-profile Generation Award trophy at the movie awards ceremony on Sunday night.
'I just want to say to all the girls out there, I know it's cool to be bad. I get it,' Reese said.
'All right, it's cool to be bad, but it's also possible to make it in Hollywood without a reality show.
“When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.
“And like if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people. Hide your face.'
But Witherspoon hasn’t always been averse to flashing the flesh, as the saucy scenes from her 1998 film Twilight, in which she starred opposite Liev Schreiber, can testify.
In one scene in the movie, Witherspoon can be seen lying naked on a couch, with her on-screen boyfriend passionately kissing her chest.
