MTV Movie Awards 2011: Starts in Just Few Hours

The MTV Movie Awards are tonight and it promises to be a star-studded night where music and movie stars collide for a historically hilarious night of awards. SNL’s Jason Sudeikis is hosting and scheduled to perform tonight are the Foo Fighters and we’re sure other surprise guests…who can forget last year’s J. The latest X-Men installment, X-Men: First Class will top this weekend’s box office with an estimated $56 million in ticket sales on it’s opening weekend. The new cast — including James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender — didn’t seem to deter movie goes as comic book fans stepped out to see the 5th installment in the series.

“Glee” star Jane Lynch is set to host the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards in September! Lynch won an Emmy for her role as the conniving Sue Sylvester on the hit show and said she is “tickled pink” to be hosting the 2011 awards which will take place in Los Angeles on September 18.
