Justice Olabisi Akinlade, yesterday, revoked the bail granted to a woman, who claimed to be one of the late President Umar Yar’Adua’s wives, Hajia Azabe Yar’Adua, for her absence in court to be arraigned for a N3.2 million fraud allegedly committed against a Lagos-based automobile dealer.
Azabe Yar’ Adua was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, few years back for alleged fraud and cheating.
Her arrest was based on a petition by one Stanley Ekeze, who claimed that she issued him a dud cheque to purchase a Hummer Jeep (H3) on November 21, 2008 at Egbeda, Lagos.
