Plateau’ll regain its lost glory - Pastor Adeboye

THE General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has stated that the people of Plateau State need not worry about the recent unfortunate development in the state and prophesied that all would be well and the state would regain its lost glory.

Pastor Adeboye made the prophetic declaration at the thanksgiving service to mark the end of the 2011 Northern Ministers/Workers Conference at the Redemption Camp ground of the church at Kassa, Barakin-Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Speaking on the topic, “Divine Champion”, Pastor Adeboye, who said the devil had failed concerning Plateau State, implored the people to live in peace and harmony with one another, adding that a divine champion was the man who defended the word of God and powered by God.

He charged the congregation to strive to live holy life all the time, adding that it was by so doing that they could assess the power of God and be a divine champion in all sphere of life, not in a specific area.
The state governor, Mr Jonah Jang, who was represented on the occasion by his Special Adviser on Religious Matter, Reverend Gyang Choji, said the recent peaceful conduct of the elections was an indication that the hand of God was on Nigeria.

The governor said Nigerians should thank God for giving the country a listening president who was ready and willing to take advice and rule the country based on the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

He implored all those who lost out in the elections to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and join hand with the winner to move the country forward at all levels, adding that sitting on the fence would not help them and the society.
