Lady Gaga is reportedly a distant cousin of Madonna — according to Chris Child, a celebrity genealogist, Lady Gaga and Madonna are ninth cousins once removed.
“They are ninth cousins once removed. When I saw that Lady Gaga had French Canadian ancestry, I thought there might be something there,” Child revealed.
Once removed what? To make the story clear and short…the two pop stars has a common ancestors, apparently a farming couple who moved from France to Quebec in the 1600s.
Lady Gaga has been compared to Madonna when she gets her major break in 2008— she was accused of copying the queen of Pop. But Gaga later defined herself, in which, she turns out to be more than Madonna or we can say the modern Madonna.
