Price Tag hitmaker Jessie met Perry, 26, in Australia last week, where she received a career counselling session from the star about how best to deal with her sudden rise to fame.
The 23-year-old told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: 'It is nice to meet someone that has been through what I am going through.
'In the bad times, you need someone to give you a hug.'
Jessie added: 'She told me to make sure I keep people I love around me. I didn't mean to get that serious, I was only meeting her for a minute and I was like, 'Can I have a counselling session please?'
'She's super cool, very funny and almost looks unreal. She's perfect.'
