Julianne Moore is going rogue. For HBO's movie, Game Change, Moore is taking on the role of everyone's favorite Mama Grizzly, Sarah Palin.
The movie chronicles the 2008 presidential campaign, focusing on John McCain's controversial pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate. Bristol Palin will also be a character in the movie, played by actress Melissa Faman. Ed Harris plays the part of John McCain, though casting should've really picked someone older to make things more accurate. Like Ernest Borgnine.
On Moore portraying her in the movie, Palin said: "If they're of the mind of spreading the wealth around -- that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kid's braces or something as they capitalize on pretending to be me."
It would be easy to criticize Sarah Palin for dumbing down the craft of acting as people "pretending to be" other people. But take into consideration that most of the Tea Party folks are used to watching shows like Teen Mom and Maury, and they have to be reminded sometimes that some people on TV are just playing characters.
Palin also commented on the Obama birth certificate that was released today by the White House.
Palin tweeted: "Media: admit it, Trump forced the issue. Now, don't let the WH distract you w/the birth crt from what Bernanke says today. Stay focused, eh?"
