Ibru: Judge needs head examining

Susanne Ibru, found guilty of harassing Manchester United and England footballer Rio Ferdinand, told the judge in the case, “You need your head examined, seriously.”

Susanne Ibru, 38, made the outburst in court after being told that her application to be released on bail whilst waiting to be sentenced had been rejected.

District Judge, Nick Sanders said he had decided to remand her in custody until pre-sentence reports could be completed as he had no confidence she would abide by her bail conditions.

Ibru was arrested in Warrington on Tuesday after leaving the court in Macclesfield during her trial on Monday. She was found guilty in  absentia.
The judge had also been told she has previous convictions for attempted wounding, carrying a knife, and criminal damage.
