Sarah Palin Visits Donald Trump in New York

Sarah Palin’s bus tour of Americana took a side trip into the surreal Tuesday evening when she paid a visit to Donald Trump at his triplex apartment in New York.

Navigating West 56th Street in rush-hour traffic, Ms. Palin arrived around 6:30 p.m. by chauffeured black S.U.V. at Trump Tower, having abandoned her One Nation tour bus, presumably outside Midtown. She alighted with her young daughter Piper, posed for a picture with a tourist and hurried past two dozen reporters and photographers.

Is Sarah Palin Thinking of Running Again?

Sarah Palin announced Friday on the website of her political action committee that she’s going on a bus tour of the US East Coast this weekend, starting in Washington and winding up towards New England.

The point of the tour will be to "appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events, and diverse cultures," said the trip announcement.

What Ms. Palin didn’t say is exactly where she’s going. The map of stops that was posted on the trip’s web page was blank. Why the secrecy?

Maybe it’s a plan to build attention and publicity for the tour, which comes as speculation about a possible Palin presidential run ramps up. Maybe it’s a way to keep the lamestream media from getting ahead of her and doing dangerous unscripted interviews with supporters.

Or maybe it’s because somebody on her staff knows enough about East Coast holiday traffic to realize that you can’t plan where you’re going because you may have to take lengthy unscheduled detours.

Bristol Palin gets own reality TV show

Bristol Palin, the daughter of Republican political star Sarah Palin, is about to be a star in her own right.

The unmarried Alaskan mother, 20, is to head up her own reality TV show for the US cable channel BIO which will follow her move from Alaska to Los Angeles where she will share a house with son Tripp, 2, and actors Chris and Kyle Massey.

Palin met Kyle Massey on her previous reality TV stint when she was a much-derided contestant on Dancing With the Stars. According to a statement from BIO Palin, 20, will also work at a charity during the as-yet-untitled documentary.

'Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to,' BIO executive David McKillop said in a statement. 'Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she's opening up her real life, with her and son and her friends the Massey brothers.'
